Every inspection is done personally by me, Antone Hempstock — ASE-Certified Master Technician, 30+ years.
Not all inspections are equal. Here’s what you’re paying for.
01
A Master Technician. Every time.
The person you book is the person who inspects the car: Antone Hempstock, ASE-Certified Master Automobile Technician with 30+ years in vehicle inspections. No subcontractors, no rotating inspectors, no one learning on your car.
02
Tested, not just looked at.
A road test of at least five miles, a diagnostic scan of the vehicle’s computer systems, paint-thickness readings across the body panels, and tread depth on every tire. Every finding is backed by measurements and photos, then explained in plain English.
03
Explained by the mechanic who saw it.
Included with every inspection, at no extra charge. After you’ve read your report, Antone walks you through the findings by phone, tells you what matters and what can wait, and answers your questions.
A minimum five-mile test drive is included when the vehicle is safe to drive and the seller permits it. I record before- and after-test-drive mileage and document any road-test limitations.
Fully insured. No repair sales pitch. Call or text 7 days a week, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Pacific.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY
A clearer picture. In their own words.
“The inspector found signs of a previous front-end collision and a slow coolant leak the seller never mentioned. I walked away and found a better one a week later.”
— John D.
“I live in Spokane and was buying a truck from a private seller in Tacoma. I felt like I’d seen the truck myself before I made the drive.”
— Drew C.
“I know nothing about cars and was nervous about buying used. The report explained everything in plain language, including what was urgent and what could wait.”
— Tony P.

Good questions. Straight answers.
What does a hands-on inspection include?
I’m an ASE-Certified Master Technician, and I test the car, not just look at it. I scan the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag and other computers; operate the windows, locks, climate controls and every accessory; test the battery, charging system and fluids; measure paint thickness on every panel; and road-test the engine, transmission, steering, suspension and brakes. When something isn’t right, I work to diagnose it and explain what it means. The only limit is that I don’t take parts apart.
What areas do you serve?
I offer mobile inspections across my Washington service area, including Olympia, Seattle, Everett, Marysville, Mount Vernon, Burlington, Bellingham, the whole Olympic Peninsula and east over the Cascades to Wenatchee. Share the vehicle’s exact location when booking so I can coordinate the inspection.
Do I need to meet the inspector?
You don’t need to attend. The seller provides access to the vehicle, and your inspector coordinates with them. Share accurate contact details and confirm they’re willing to allow an inspection.
Why do I pay when I book?
Booking reserves your spot on my schedule and lets me contact the seller immediately, before someone else buys the car. Full refund if the inspection can't happen before I head out. After I've left for the inspection, a $75 trip fee applies.
When will the inspection happen?
I inspect 7 days a week, usually the same day and never later than the next business day. The moment you book, I contact the seller and confirm the appointment time with you. If you book after hours, I’ll contact you the next business day. Full refund if the inspection can't happen before I head out. After I've left for the inspection, a $75 trip fee applies.
What does the report include?
40+ captioned photos and videos, a plain-English summary of what needs attention first, diagnostic scan results, paint readings across the body, and tread depth for every tire. You can view it online from anywhere and save it as a PDF. See a real sample report →

Dealer or private seller, I come to the car. You don’t need to attend — the seller gives me access.
If the car is in the green area, I’ll come to it.

Just outside the line? Call or text 206-843-7600 and I’ll let you know.
Hands-on testing of accessible systems. Nothing is taken apart. Road tests depend on safety and seller permission. A condition snapshot, not a warranty, valuation, emissions test or guarantee against future problems.
